  always been my

  favourite flower

  because they

  gave us hope

  during the War.

  Yet they fade

  away as quickly

  as they arrive?

  Perhaps the

  very  saddest

  moment? When

  we know their

  time is over for

  this year.

  Is it also

  because they

  bloom so

  Strongly,

  catching that

  early sun,  yet

  fade so very

  quickly. Just

  like our dreams

  and aspirations,

  with so many  

  things or

  situations.
